Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information PROOF (“we”), operated by Guna, collects when you use this website, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.

Your plan answers stay in your browser

There are no accounts. The answers you give in the plan builder (your goals, targets, actions and constraints) are saved only in your browser’s local storage, so you can come back to them. We don’t store them on our servers.

When you download your paid spreadsheet, your answers are sent to our server once so it can build the file. The file is returned to you straight away and neither the answers nor the file are kept afterwards.

You can delete your saved answers at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. You enter your card, UPI, netbanking or wallet details in Razorpay’s secure window, not on our site, and we never see or store them. Razorpay shares with us the order ID, payment ID and payment status, plus the contact details you give Razorpay (such as your email or phone number), so we can confirm the payment and help you if something goes wrong. Razorpay’s own privacy policy applies to the data it processes.

So you can download your spreadsheet again later, the payment confirmation (order ID, payment ID and signature) is saved in your browser’s local storage.

Reminder emails (optional)

If you sign up for the weekly review reminder, we keep your email address, with the date you agreed, on our email list, hosted by Resend, Inc. We use it only to send those reminders and the occasional note when it’s time to plan your next goals. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to delete your address. We don’t share it with advertisers or send it to Meta or Google.

Analytics and advertising

We use the following tools to understand how people find and use the site and to measure our advertising:

• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived (for example, from an ad).
• Meta Pixel and Conversions API (Meta Platforms, Inc.): pages visited and actions such as starting the builder, opening checkout and completing a purchase. When you buy, our server also sends Meta the purchase event with your IP address, browser user agent and Meta cookie identifiers, so Meta can match it to an ad you saw. We don’t send your plan answers, name, email or phone number to Meta or Google. When you sign up for reminders, they only learn that a signup happened.
• Campaign parameters: if you arrive from a link with tracking tags (such as utm_source), we save those tags in your browser’s local storage to know which campaign brought you.

These tools set cookies or similar identifiers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and manage ad preferences in your Meta ad settings. The plan builder and the purchase work without these cookies.

Hosting and logs

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like most web hosts, Vercel keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) for security and reliability.

Why we process this information

• To build your plan and deliver the spreadsheet you paid for.
• To send reminder emails, only if you asked for them.
• To confirm payments, prevent fraud and handle refunds.
• To measure and improve the site and our advertising.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We don’t sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally up to 8 years). Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of Google Analytics and Meta. Your reminder email address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve your request.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or erase personal data we hold about you, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to act for you. Email guna@contentdesk.in and we’ll respond within 30 days. Data held only in your browser can be removed by clearing this site’s data.
